Civil Service Recruitment 2013 : IAS , IFS , IPS....




Union Public service Commission is an authorized central Government agency which has been established by the Government of India to conduct civil services examination to hunt out the young and talented citizens of India which are ready to serve their country. The commission has its headquarters located in the capital of India, Delhi. The commission consists of the Chairman along with the ten members to run the whole organization properly in a best way. The members of this commission have been appointed by the President of India and giving them the authority to carry out the recruitment process on a large scale in the whole country.
UPSC Civil Service Recruitment 2013 Details ?
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is conducting the direct recruitment for the total vacancies of 1000 for the civil service examination 2013. There are different numbers of vacancies available for the various Government Departments in Union Public service Commission.
Before apply read eligibility criteria:
The minimum and the maximum age limit specified by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) are in between 21 and 30 years of age .There will be the relaxation in the age limit of reserved categories as per the instruction of the Government.
The candidate applying for the post must possess the bachelor’s degree in any discipline from the University incorporated by an act of the central or State legislature in India or any other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.

Selection Procedure:

The candidates eligible for the following post will be selected on the basis of the Competitive written examination. The written exam will be conducted by the concerned authorities of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The civil service examination will be conducted in two stages civil services Preliminary Examination (objective type) followed by civil services Main Examination. The candidates who will qualify the written examination will be recruited for the post by the concerned authorities after the personal interview. After Personal Interview, Merit list of all the qualified students will be displayed for the civil service exams. The date of the civil preliminary examination is 26th May, 2013 and the tentative month for the Civil Main Examination is in the month of September and October.

Online Application Submission Process:

The candidates who are willing to apply for the various posts can apply online. To apply online, one has to visit the official website of the Union Public service Commission (UPSC) to fill the application form. The application has to be filled by providing all necessary details in the prescribed format. The application fees payment can be done by online mode. The process of online payment can be done through master card/ debit card/ net banking as well as visa cards. There is a relaxation in the application fee of the candidates of the reserved categories as per the instruction of the Government. The application fee for the General Candidates is Rs/- 100. The last date of filling this application online is 4th April, 2013.

IMPORTANT

CANDIDATES SHOULD NOTE THAT THERE ARE CERTAIN CHANGES IN THE

SCHEME OF CIVIL SERVICES (MAIN) EXAMINATION, WHICH HAVE BEEN

ELUCIDATED IN THE SCHEME OF EXAMINATION. THERE ARE SOME OTHER

CHANGES ALSO IN REGARD TO THE CHOICE OF LANGUAGE MEDIUM IN THE

CIVIL SERVICES (MAIN) EXAMINATION. THESE MAY ALSO BE NOTED.

1. CANDIDATES TO ENSURE THEIR ELIGIBILITY FOR THE EXAMINATION:
The Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to examination. Their admission to all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. Mere issue of admission certificate to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by the Commission. Commission takes up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after the candidate has qualified for Interview/Personality Test. 
2. HOW TO APPLY: 
Candidates are required to apply Online by using the website http:// www.upsconline.nic.in Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the above- mentioned website. Brief Instructions for filling up the "Online Application Form" given in Appendix-II. 
3. LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS: 
The online Applications can be filled up to 4th of April, 2013 till 11.59 PM after which the link will be disabled. 
4. The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admission Certificate three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e- Admission Certificate will be made available in the UPSC website [www.upsc.gov.in] for 
downloading by candidates. No Admission Certificate will be sent by post. 
5. PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS: 
Candidates should note that there will be penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers. 
6. For both writing and marking answers in the OMR sheet [Answer Sheet], candidates must use black ball pen only. Pens with any other colours are prohibited. Do not use Pencil or Ink pen.
